Mercer County’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

LIHEAP is designed to help low income families and individuals meet home heating and medically necessary cooling costs. This year, the application period opens October 3, 2022 and closes June 30, 2023. Applications can be accessed here.

Summer EBT

Summer EBT is a new federal program to help families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer. Children who receive Summer EBT benefits can still participate in other summer meal programs, and receiving benefits will not affect children or families’ immigration status. If you believe your child may qualify, you are encouraged to complete a School Meals Application and submit it to your student’s school secretary no later than April 24, 2024, to see if you qualify for the Federal Summer EBT benefits and/or Free or Reduced Price School Meals. Applications can be obtained at Littlebrook's main office, or you may contact Leslie Pettersen (lesliepettersen@princetonk12.org or 609-806-4204 x2015).
